Had a lunch date with some friends and was looking forward to eating some delicious Indian/ Nepalese food.We were warmly welcomed and seated by super friendly hostess, Shreya. The food options were explained to us. We decided to go for the buffet that had a variety of options to select from.The chicken Vindaloo and butter chicken was absolutely delicious.The vegetable dishes were tasty and the spice level was perfect.Chai tea was also available which I didn’t have.I was also super excited to find fresh vegetables and groceries for purchase.Owner made a point to visit us which was really nice.Please stop by if you are in town and I promise that you won’t be disappointed.

If you like Indian food, this place is giving Taste of India legit competition. The Saturday lunch buffet was very nice. The place seemed clean and the food fresh. Some nice offerings in the food to cook section.

Himalayan Cafe has become the go-to place for delicious Indian food in Monroe Louisiana. All you can eat buffet at lunch is incredibly popular with locals and travelers driving through Monroe. There is an equal balance between vegetarian and meat dishes. It was particularly crowded the last time My brother and I went so it took a little extra time to be seated and for drink refills. But considering how delicious and abundant the food was that's to be expected. I absolutely love all of the Indian desserts they serve!Overall a terrific value and I always look forward to my next visit. Give this place a try!

This place is great! The food is delish and the atmosphere has really improved with the new ownership. Its better than the other Indian joint in town also, IMO. Great food!

Beginning with the foods we ordered.Chicken Chili -10/10Chili Momo - 10/10Goat Chowmein - 9/10Chicken Jhol Momo - 8/10Incredible atmosphere with good musics. Clean area and service was nice as well.Food was absolute awe. Visited to this place from California while on a road trip and we stumbled upon this restaurant but so glad we did. Hadn’t had this good food in a long time.Jhol momo’s Sauce could be better. Chowmein had a little less salt but this might be once in a few order so I didn’t mind as I added on it later which was on the table. But the Chili momo and Chicken Chili was absolute . I would definitely be back here again to try some more dishes if I ever come to this area and yes, it is highly recommend and it’s going on my youtube channel of @dipeshtraveltales. Keep up the great work you guys.

I have never been disappointed in the food I’ve had at this wonderful place. Not only is the food delicious, but the atmosphere leaves me excited to try more. And the service is excellent. Sit in Aasyika’s section! She will gladly explain the various dishes and make wonderful suggestions. She is awesome!

This is legitimately the most flavorful food in this city. I have tried at least a dozen entrees and they have all been excellent. I regularly choose tandoori chicken with some momo. The vegetable soup is AWESOME. Chicken Korma is delicious. Outstanding food.

Location: 5/5 very spacious and clean, enough parking space.Staff: 4/5 They we’re nice, they explain what’s in their menu, the only thing that made it 4 is that they don’t check you often and ask what you need.Food: 5/5 We had C Momo and Chili chicken for appetizer and it was spectacular! Those who likes spicy food would love this. Its not hot, it’s just fine. For the entree we had chicken tikka and basmati rice and it is good as well. They serve the food from pot to your table, you can taste it’s freshness.Price: 5/5, its very affordable.
